Congratulations to our WSEU teams on another successful indoor season of fun, challenge and development. Below is a listing of some notable events and results from the season for the developmental, premier and recreational teams in our district.

Canada Soccer Regional EXCEL Program

Samantha Balcaen (2004) attended the Canada Soccer Regional EXCEL Program U17 ID camp in February where she had the opportunity to train with players and coaches from across Canada. Congratulations to Sam on receiving that opportunity.

 

Whitecaps Youth Combine 2019

The following 2005/2006 players are currently in Vancouver, British Columbia participating in the Whitecaps Youth U14 Academy Centre Combine with players from across Canada.

Technical Achievement

Amy Harrison, Assistant Technical Director – Female Program has completed the National B License Program from the Canadian Soccer Association. Amy also attended the United Coaches Convention in January 2019 in Chicago as a recipient of the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Foundation Scholarship (Bob Seddon Fund). Amy joined thousands of attendees from across the globe for presentations and workshops. Congratulations to Amy on her certification. WSEU is pleased to support our staff’s learning and development.
