In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA) in consultation with Canada Soccer and the Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association (WYSA), has determined that effective immediately all MSA/WYSA sanctioned soccer activities will cease until further notice. Recognizing the urgency of the current situation, the Winnipeg South End United Soccer Club (WSEU) is suspending all club soccer activities include competitions, league play, training, coach and match official education and team building activities until further notice.
“Effective immediately all MSA/WYSA/WSEU sanctioned soccer activities will cease until further notice.”
To protect the health of our staff, WSEU Offices will be closed to the general public from March 14 to April 4, 2020. We will be available to assist by phone and email during our normal operating hours. Please leave a message if we are unable to address your call immediately.
We will provide updates relating to the resumption of soccer activities and office accessibility as we monitor and communicate with our partners on the best practices going forward. Please be cautious in your interactions with others over the coming weeks and adopt the practices that have been outlined by public health officials for constraining the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
