Adam Mooi Takes the Next Step in his Career
Published Monday, January 28, 2019

Winnipeg South End United (WSEU) wishes to inform its players and families that our Assistant Technical Director – Male Programs, Adam Mooi, has accepted an opportunity to take on a new challenge as the Technical Manager for the Manitoba Soccer Association.

Adam joined the technical staff at WSEU on a part-time basis in 2014 while continuing his university studies at the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business. During his time with us, Adam has made many valuable contributions as a team coach and technical trainer. In addition to supporting the development of technical programs for our players, Adam has been an important resource for coach education at WSEU through coach workshops that he helped host and deliver and contributions to our database of technical resources for coaches, which has grown considerably during his time with us. Adam has also supported the expansion of the WSEU Academy and its High-Performance Teams, Mini Academy programs, and most recently helped to introduce Futsal to our WSEU Winter Academy program.

Our Technical Director, Hadyn Sloane-Seale, would like to acknowledge Adam’s contributions to WSEU during his time with us and states that;

“It has been a pleasure getting to know and work with Adam over the past 4 years.  He is one of the hardest working and most dedicated individuals in the game. It will no doubt be a loss for the club and a great gain for the MSA, and I wish him the very best in his future endeavours. I know he will make his next position his own and fully expect that he will continue to help make soccer better in the Province as he has done here at our Club.  Best of luck Adam!”

We wish Adam well as he joins the Manitoba Soccer Association. We will miss Adam’s knowledge, commitment, support for the players and joy for the game of soccer. His last official day with WSEU will be February 11, 2019. Please take the opportunity during his last few weeks with us to wish Adam all the best in this next step of his career and for the future.

Moving forward, the WSEU Board will work with our Technical staff to review plans for addressing the needs of our players and programs. An announcement will be forthcoming.

On behalf of the WSEU Board,

Dale Friesen, President
